Shifting Your Vibration from “What Can I Get?” to “How Can I Serve?”

Over the past several years, I have witnessed a shift starting to happen in the world from an egocentric mindset to a burgeoning awareness of how connected we all are to each other.

We see these dramas play out in every facet of our society, but no matter how intensely our mainstream media works to keep us afraid and distracted, it is impossible to change the outcome to which we are headed.

The process of global awakening started over 30 years ago and it will continue until we collectively realize the truth of who and what we are.

Some of us felt this pull within us many decades ago and started down our paths of spiritual growth and development. In recent years, masses of people are awakening and they feel the shift within them in a myriad of ways.

You may find yourself waking up in the wee hours of the morning, unable to go back to sleep. If you do, this is a great time to meditate and lean into the energy pulling you in a different direction.

You may feel a deep sense of dissatisfaction in the role you play in life and one of the most important questions you can ever ask yourself is, “How can I serve?”

Most of the messages we have received over the course of our lives taught us to feel various forms of insufficiency. We may feel that we ourselves are “not enough” and this is the most common core negative belief I have encountered when working with clients. This belief drives us to fill that gap with money, material success, sex, drugs, alcohol, drama or the need to control and dominate others.

This drives a mindset of “What can I get?”

When we feel insufficient, we unconsciously create a persona (mask) of insufficiency and everything we do and say comes from the vibration of insufficiency. While we may work hard enough to achieve some of the things we are seeking, we cannot truly enjoy the results, because the feeling of insufficiency is still there.

The belief that you, any of you…are not enough is a false belief. It is impossible for you to not be enough. You are a child of the Divine, with the power to heal this belief and then to create your life and to co-create our world in a way which serves all of us.

Each person reading this message was born with a gift, a talent, a drive to do something in service to the world. You feel this pull within you and when you are not following this path, you feel a deep sense of dissatisfaction that no amount of money, success or power can fill.

True power is not something that comes from outside of you. Your true power comes from within…or rather through you…and is expressed in your own unique way.

When we first start asking ourselves, “How can I serve?” we likely will not know the answer to that question. We must however pay attention to the little messages that come to us, the opportunities that appear out of nowhere that may not even seem connected to the question…but lead us to other opportunities that are.

When we find ourselves on our path, even if it’s not yet clear; we feel more excited about life. It almost feels like the flowers are more beautiful, the music more joyful and every texture and context of life deeper and more fulfilling.

When we are in service to others; life supports and nurtures us. The vibration we send out gives us more opportunities to grow and thrive.

I encourage you to wake up with the question each morning of “How can I serve?”

Feel the feeling as if it has already happened. Feel the feelings of joy, purpose and freedom and watch your life start to transform before you.
