We’re a small team with a big heart for service.

Meet Jacqueline

Founder & Executive Director
A Path To Peace, Inc.

I’m Jacqueline Williams, a Maryland native and a lifelong advocate for building stronger, more inclusive communities.

My professional background is rooted in higher education, where I served as a Program Director at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, working on student pipeline, dual admissions programs, and inclusion initiatives. I hold a master’s degree in marketing and have spent my career developing programs that expand access, opportunity, and meaningful pathways for individuals and families.

A Path To Peace was built on the conviction that everyone deserves a sacred place to heal. I carry a deep and genuine commitment to this work, shaped by close, personal experiences that have offered me a meaningful understanding of both the beauty and the complexities of navigating support systems. Through years of learning, advocacy, and continued education, including Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training, special education law coursework, and ongoing professional development, I have worked to better support those in my life and to understand how systems can better serve individuals and families as a whole.

Along this journey, I discovered the profound impact of equine assisted services. What began as a simple introduction to horse care quickly became something much more meaningful. The rhythm of the barn, the connection with animals, and the grounding presence of nature have brought healing, joy, and balance to my family in ways that are both powerful and lasting. That experience now sits at the heart of this vision.

I am actively pursuing a certification to become a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor with PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship).

When I am not working on A Path To Peace, you can find me spending time with my family or enjoying horseback riding, cooking, gardening, and birding. I especially adore spotting bluebirds and the quiet joy they bring.

It is both an honor and a responsibility to bring this vision to life on the historic grounds of Johns Hopkins, whose legacy continues to reflect a deep commitment to improving lives and expanding opportunity for others.

We are building something truly special and this is just the beginning.
